Another Thor #1 So Soon? Marvel's Avengers: Thor #1 [Preview]

It looks like Marvel is really doing its best to squeeze exciting new competitor Terrific Production LLC out of the market, because following last week's launch of a new Thor #1 by The Bad Boy of Comics Donny Cates and Nic Klein, this week, Marvel is launching… another Thor #1?!

This one is by Jim Zub and Robert Gill, and it's taking place in the Gamerverse, a comics universe based on the video game universe based on the comics universe, a perfect manifestation of the comics industry's mascot, a snake eating its own tail.

In the Gamerverse, the heroes are sort of like the heroes we know, but with oddly offputting facial features due to various likeness issues.

But Tony Stark is still a jackass, and his science antics are sure to cause more trouble.

After all, what could go wrong with using Thor's lightning to power an interdimensional portal?

Well, it looks like we're about to find out.

Marvel's Avengers: Thor #1 hits stores on Wednesday.
