So Who In The Batbooks Has A Secret Identity Anymore?
To paraphrase Oscar Wilde, to have one Bruce Wayne ward exposed as a Batman companion looks unfortunate, to have two, looks suspicious.
The identity of Nightwing, Dick Grayson, was revealed to the world in Forever Evil, necessitating his transformation into superspy Grayson, working under the radar for Batman.
Bruce Wayne is known in the DC Universe as the founder of Batman Inc, which might make for an acceptable link for the public as for why Dick Grayson then began to be a Robin for Batman.
In Teen Titans, Red Robin's secret identity has been kept a secret even from his fellow team members. But that's not a problem for Ladytron-with-hair…
Or from S.T.A.R. Labs…
Or presumably, next month, from the rest of the Teen Titans.
If Dick Grayson's identity goes public, then either Bruce Wayne is Batman or he is using his wards as a way to fuel the machine of Batman Inc in creating Robins for Batman.
And certainly, Lex Luthor should be able to work it out as he knows Batman's identity. Who else to add to the pile?
