Bob Howard Could Be My Favourite New Devil's Due/1First Comics Title

BHPOTU_Cover_1FDD_FLAT-REVISED-061315We talked about the new Devil's Due/1First Comics publisher yesterday, as well as a look at their new books. Well here's another. Rafael Nieves and Dan Dougherty have a new horror comic, with an introduction from Brian Azzarello to help it along.

Bob Howard, Plumber Of The Unknown.

Now that really is a Buffy-type title. About a widower plmber who finds himself encountering the creatures of the deep, caught up in the plumbing. It's a beautiful book, with great comedy timing, an engaging grey wash and some string cartooning skills hidden amongst that photo realism.

I want to send this to The Good Dinosaur's Peter Sohn, I think he's like it too.
