BOOM! Wants You to Color Tony Millionaire's Sea Monsters (And No, That's Not a Euphemism)

BOOM! Studios has announced a new adult coloring book called Tony Millionaire's Sea Monsters, which, if the title didn't give it away, features drawing of sea monsters (and other nautical stuff) by titular cartoonist Tony Millionaire, which a press release promises will include some of his "most beloved misfit characters." The press release provides a further description of the book:

Step aboard and experience the strange and beautiful world of the award-winning cartoonist with over 40 black and white illustrations with spyglass-like detail as you encounter everything imaginable above and below the high seas along with a couple of special guest land-lubbers. Humor fans and color enthusiasts alike can jump in feet first and bring this madcap, seafaring world to life with the most vivid and ridiculous colors of their imaginations.

If you thought Tony Millionaire would be let off the hook on contributing the obligatory press release quote just because he's rich (or his name is), you got it wrong. Millionaire said:

This book is dedicated to Jim Campbell. A number of years ago a guy named Jimmy sent me a copy of a Maakies strip of mine; he had colored it with colored pencils. I had been taught the Fine Art of pen & ink drawing by my grandfather and I thought it sacrilege to color a drawing that was not meant to be colored from the start. He proved me wrong, the comic strip looked wonderful, so I hired him to color a graphic novel I was working on. Now Jimmy has a great job working freelance for big shot comics companies and he's written, drawn and colored a few books himself. A Rising Star, born from the humble womb of Coloring in Books!
