Brian Ruckley And Andrea Mutti Create A Highlander Prequel For IDW In February

Last year, I reviewed the Highlander comic book published by Eternal Comics and utterly hated it.

Looks like I wasn't alone as they have lost the license and IDW Entertainment has taken it. And in Febriary will be publishing a Highlander prequel.

Highlander, the epic action/adventure fantasy film starring Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery, will expand its legacy next year as a comic-book miniseries from IDW Publishing.

unnamed-17 Scottish fantasy writer Brian Ruckley and artist Andrea Mutti (Rebels) will explore Connor MacLeod's journey, both physical and internal, that led him to become humanity's immortal champion. From medieval Scotland to Civil War-era Pennsylvania to mid-century Manhattan, readers will meet new characters, such as immortal Osta Vazilek, as well as previously seen characters…

As well as IDW and Enternal, Highlander comics were also published by Dynamite…
