Cap Leads an Army of Villains on a Prison Break in Captain America #11 (Preview)
During the Secret Empire super-mega-crossover event, Captain America was revealed to have always been a secret Nazi working for Hydra. Or at least, that's how it seemed at first, but some cosmic cube shenanigans led to "the real Cap" coming back to take out the Nazi Cap, leading us all to believe that Captain America really was a good guy and Nazi Cap was a completely different person.
And yet, in this preview of Captain America #11, we find Captain America leading a bunch of prisoners in a riot, attempting to break out of federal prison!
Sure, you could argue there's some context to all of this, and technically Cap was framed by the Power Elite, and yes, this prison was technically run by Baron Von Strucker…
But is that any excuse to break the law? To subvert the American judicial system? What is Captain America trying to hide?!
The fact is, we've given Captain America the benefit of the doubt too often. The evidence here is clear. He can't be trusted.
Captain America #11 hits stores on Wednesday.
