51rgq2ugpslBleeding Cool has reported that DC's Bat-centric summer event from Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo will be called Metal, and will deal with the presence of the Thangarian Nth metal in the DC Universe. And odds are we'll get a flying Batman out of it.

But if anyone was wanting to catch up on Snyder and Capullo's run on Batman that precedes it, Amazon.com do have the Batman by Scott Snyder & Greg Capullo Box Set collecting the first three arcs in a slipcase on 44% discount on right now on the complete set, for just $28.

Which, if you consider shipping charges from Diamond, may also make it cheaper for retailers to order directly from Amazon before they raise the prices again.

Getting the slipcase version is also cheaper than buying the three volumes separately which even on Amazon discount would top $40 – and not have a snazzy looking slipcase.
