DC Comics' Second Printings For Batman and Superman – and Third Printing for Last Knight

It does seem slightly ironic that DC Comics trashed an entire print run for Superman #14 for reasons they won't admit to. And now, since it features the return of the Legion Of Super-Heroes, taking it back for a second printing. Or, rather, a third printing. The original, recalled and pulped printing, just sold for $27 on eBay.

So, yes, Superman #14 by Brian Bendis, Ivan Reis and Joe Prado is getting… another printing, on sale on October 2nd, with a recoloured version of the original cover by Reis, but it's not alone.

Batman #78, which went on sale yesterday, joins all recent Batman issues in going to a second printing. It will feature a recoloured version of the original cover by Tony S. Daniel, also with an on-sale date of October 2nd.

While it is Batman: Last Knight On Earth #1 by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo that gets a third printing. It will have a recoloured version of the original cover by Capullo, again with an on-sale date of October 2nd.

No visuals yet. But here's a look at the second printing of Last Knight to get a flavour… look the lettering at the bottom is white, not red. Classy.
