DC Adds Last God #9 In September, Songs of Lost Children For October

DC Comics has announced that The Last God series which they probably overcommitted to considering how poorly it has performed so far compared to how much they have promoted it will see its ninth issue arrive in stores in September 23rd. This is a brand new solicitation, retro-added to current schedules. #7 is scheduled for 21st July and #8 for 25th August.

The Last God #9 by Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Riccardo Federici, cover by Kai Carpenter

In this issue of the acclaimed DC Black Label series, the fires of cruelty burn hottest in the forges of the Abyssal Realm. In those treacherous caverns, Eyvindr and Valko face off against a horrific monster of incredible proportions and unyielding hunger. With Cyanthe and the rest of the fellowship separated from the two young heroes, survival will come at a great cost — one that not all of them will survive.

While the planned The Last God: Songs of Lost Children #1 for July will have all orders cancelled and be resolicited for October.
