Deadpool #35 And Uncanny Avengers #26 Show What Happens After Secret Empire #10
So that was Secret Empire #10. We had a few thoughts and questions. But Deadpool #35 by Gerry Duggan, Mike Hawthorne, Terry Pallot, and Ruth Redmond has actually gone and answered one of them. What happens to the Captain Hydra character, now defeated and knocked to the ground by Captain America. And how will the public react to them — who is the real Steve Rogers after all? The original timeline revived version, or the idea made flesh by a cosmic cube?
So the official answer is he's been arrested, is being regarded as a doppelganger, and everyone sees the new Captain America as the "real" Captain America. Yeah, right.
You know, I hope Steve Rogers and Peter Parker shoot the breeze some time. "I'm just the memory of myself, made flesh by a childlike cosmic cube." "Really? I'm just the memory of myself from the perspective of my worst enemy that got delegated back in control." "Another drink?" "Oh, yes."
Oh, and as for that Blackout info that Maria Hill got in a previous issue of Secret Empire?

Black Panther And The Crew #6 by Ta-Nehisi Coates, Tona Harvey, Butch Guice, Mack Chater, and Scott Hanna have their own issues with Hydra in Harlem — though they also have a more pressing danger: cancellation!
The Secret Empire keeps on Empire-building. Just a little less secretly now…
