Final Issue Of Gotham Sirens Is Rather Close To The 9 11 Bone (SPOILERS)
***SPOILERS ***SPOILERS ***SPOILERS ***SPOILERS ***SPOILERS ***SPOILERS ***
In the final issue of Gotham Sirens before the relaunch, issue 26 out today, it's very much an ending of ways. As the truth about the initial setting up of the trio of bad girls gone good-ish comes to the fore, and it doesn't go that well for everyone.
Basically, we're talking Poison Ivy. Who, with her plant-based powers goes a bit doolally at being so manipulated and lashes out at Gotham itself.
And two-and-a-bit weeks until the tenth anniversary on the attacks on the World Trade Centre, gives us this little scene.
Not to worry, it ends (slightly) poignantly, there's soem great scenes as flashbacks are played out, superimposed on buildings and backgrounds in the initial fight scene, characters aren't compromised and there's a finality to it all.
It's just… I'm not sure the property damage was worth it.
