Is This The First Before Watchmen Continuity Error?

The viral marketing page for Before Watchmen, purporting to show a page from The New Frontiersman, as the superheroes are being disbanded in 1977, years before the Watchmen series takes place may have a boo boo.

One of the articles, written by Seymour Smith, is about punks in England, and how they could use their own superheroes to sort them out.

And Seymour Smith, is indeed a staff member on the New Frontiersman in Watchmen. But only as a young intern. Set ten years later.

When this New Frontiersman is meant to have been published, Seymour may not even have been in high school…
