Today sees the publication of Justice Society Of America #11 by Geoff Johns and Marco Santucci and yes it has been a long wait. But with double splash page like this featuring the Justice Society Of America fighting the Legion Of Super Heroes, the superheroes from a hundred years ago, fighting those from a thousand years away, might the wait be worthwhile?
I mean, you could be catching details like this for some time. Originally solicited for April, and then June, to be drawn by Mikel Janin, Marco Santucci certainly does a fine job.
And yes, it's the pre-Brian Bendis Legion as well, which seem to have been swept away with one ir more timequakes.
The Golden Age, published over two years ago, so long ago now, but which will kick off the inevitable Omnibus, was heading to this future. To the remains of the Justice Society Of America stone table, with a new Justice Society for the far, far future.
And in today's Justice Society Of America #11, after the team-ups across the millennia have been done…
And a new team up for the ages…
… and a new Justice Society Of America for a thousand years hence. The damage to that table buffed out really well don't you think? They must have got the BBC's Repair Shop on the job. So here is the new Justice Socity Of America of the 31st century…
…. ready to be ignored by all of DC Comics now that Johns is persona non grata after stealing away DC's best artists for Ghost Machine at Image Comics.
