Gail Simone Has A Request…
Gail Simone, the amazing writer of such things as Birds of Prey, Batgirl, Red Sonja and so much more, took to Twitter today to make a request of her followers. Four Color Fantasies in Winchester, VA is having a very rough month and could use a few more customers coming by. Now it might seem odd for a creator to speak up for a particular store… but if you think about it, the comic industry is an economic circle where all parts are equal. For every shop lost, it becomes harder for readers to get the books. If the books aren't bought then publishers make less and if they make less then creators make less meaning stores will have fewer books to sell.
