Garth Ennis To Appear At The New Jersey Comic Expo
Dynamite Entertainment will be bringing comic writer Garth Ennis to New Jersey. The guy behind Preacher and The Boys will be appearing at the New Jersey Comic Expo on Saturday, November 18th from 12-2 pm EST (times may vary) where he will be signing autographs at the Dynamite booth (#908).
Ennis has been writing comics for almost thirty years. His credits include Preacher, Hitman, The Boys and successful runs on The Punisher and Fury for Marvel Comics. He is also well known for his war comics, most notably War Stories, Battlefields and a recent revival of the classic British character Johnny Red. Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Ennis now lives in New York City with his wife, Ruth.
Ennis co-created the Preacher series with late Steve Dillon for Vertigo Comics back in 1995. It was recently turned into an AMC series by Sam Catlin, Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen and has finished two seasons so far. The series starts Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Joseph Gilgun and Graham McTavish.
NJCE will be held November 18th and 19th, 2017 at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center, situated in Edison, New Jersey (97 Sunfield Avenue, Edison, NJ 08837).
