Groo Vs God (All Of Him) In New Series Announced At ECCC From Dark Horse

unnamed (1)

Let's be clear about this. Groo The Wanderer is a truly great comic book. A satirical allegory that is basically Conan The Barbarian meets Gulliver's Travels, the comic has taken Groo to all manner of societies and cultures that seem to mirror aspects of our own lives. And then wreak havoc.

Well now he appears to be going up in the world.

Dark Horse has announced a new series, Groo: Fray of the Gods. By Sergio Aragonés, Mark Evanier,, Tom Luth and Stan Sakai, it will run for twelve issues.

The gods did not bless Groo with brains, only with the ability to battle. Now, they themselves are in conflict over the spirit and future of mankind…and it is Groo who becomes the pawn (unwitting, of course) in their war. If the future of humanity depends on the Wanderer—we're all in a lot of trouble.

Groo: Fray of the Gods #1 is on sale July 20, 2016.
