Why The Guardians Of The Galaxy Won't Be Going Anywhere (SPOILERS)
This week's Civil War II and Guardians Of The Galaxy dovetailed their storylines together and set up the new status quo for the space-faring team.
Basically, less space-faring.
And they will be hanging around for a bit. The Guardians solicits for December read,
GROUNDED!
The Guardians of the Galaxy are stuck on Earth!
They're also not necessarily a team anymore.
What's an urban spaceman supposed to do?
But maybe it might give Angela a little longer to spent with Sara?
Did the power from the exploding Guardians ship, of the Ultimates headquarters, The Triskelion, it crashed into, affect Ulysses' visions?
Is that why he was able to see further ahead to a Miles Morales with an adult frame.
As opposed to the kiddier version earlier in the issue?
Also what happened to the suspected terrorist?
The one who was predicted to do very bad things with no evidence whatsoever?
She doesn't get mentioned at all in Civil War II #5. But, it would help back up the vision of Miles Morales killing Steve Rogers of, in issue 6, it was revealed that, yes, she was a terrorist and the only way possible to discover that was with Ulysses.
Brian Bendis does give us this teaser of Civil War II #6 on his Tumblr…
You know, the Vision only shot down the ship because he was aiming at Kitty Pryde.
Hmm, actually that's a weird one. It passed through her because she was phasing. didn;t the Vision know that was what would happen, if so why bother? And if he didn't know that, was he trying to kill her?
And is this Kitty's fiancée Peter and Carol getting closer? Or is Kitty thinking of playing for the other team?
