Image Comics has announced plans to collect acclaimed indie superhero comic Cla$$war by Rob Williams, Trevor Hairsine, and Travel Foreman as a trade paperback next July. Originally published by British comic book publisher Com.x in 2002, Williams points out in a press release that the comic "feels more pertinent now" due to "liars, charlatans, and criminals in high office."

PORTLAND, Ore. 12/11/2019 — The critically acclaimed indie superhero title—Cla$$war by Rob Williams, Trevor Hairsine, and Travel Foreman—will be available in trade paperback for the first time from Image Comics this July 2020.

Love your country then rip it down! In Cla$$war, beloved supersoldier, American, uncovers the dark truth behind the White House and burns the word "Liar" into the forehead of the president on live TV. Now on the run with a rogue CIA agent, he intends to reveal everything he now knows to the world. Can his former teammates, the superteam Enola Gay, stop him?

"Cla$$war somehow feels more pertinent now than it did upon its initial release," said Williams. "Taking down the liars, the charlatans, and the criminals in high office. That's still a story we can all get behind."

Cla$$war (ISBN: 978-1607438168) will be available on Wednesday, July 15 and in bookstores on Tuesday, July 21. It can be pre-ordered at your local comic book shop, on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, IndieBound, and Indigo.

Cla$$war will also be available for purchase across many digital platforms, including the official Image Comics iOS app, Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, comiXology, and Google Play.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
