Is That The Wrong Stormtrooper On Marvel's Adaptation Of Star Wars: The Force Awakens?
On Friday, Bleeding Cool ran the cover to Marvel's comic book adaptation of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. A few hours later, Star Wars.com ran it as an exclusive reveal which was a neat trick.
This image will have had to have been signed off and approved by LucasFilm and Disney before being released. This is what they want.
But the design of the Stormtrooper is an intriguing one. The eyespace in the helmet is closer to the current design of the movie Force Awakens Stormtrooper, but everything else, separate serrated mouth line, and the design of the leg and boot is utterly the design from the original trilogy rather that the new film.
Will this be amended for publication? Of is the adaptation of the movie going for a sense of nostalgia even more than the film?
