Jimmy Palmiotti's New Sex And Violence Kickstarter Needs A Whole Lotta Black Bars
Jimmy Palmiotti has used Kickstarter rather proficiently over recent years, making it into a preorder service for his next Image Comics graphic novel, and given fans some extra treats along the way, offering different types of material than Jimmy gets to work on at Marvel and DC.
And so we get the second volume of his Sex And Violence series, working
with co-writer Justin Gray, and bringing in a number of artists for an anthology with, naturally, sex and violence.
They should, of course, be at opposite sides of human experience, but some folk seem to have the habit of repeatedly bringing them together and it's those worlds that Palmiotti and friends explore.
And, as you can see from the art below, it needs a whole lot of black
bars to get the work of Dave Johnson, Romina Moranelli, Rafa Garres , Vanesa R. Del Rey and Paul Mounts past Kickstarter nudity police.
But this is a book, like the other, about stories. And you can see how well those stories play out, even unlettered, below.
If you want it, you know how to get it.
