London's Orbital Comics Runs Life Model Class Alongside Red Carpet Premier of Dark Phoenix
Timed to coincide with the red-carpet premier of the new X-Men movie, Dark Phoenix at Leicester Square in London, neighbouring comic book store Orvital Comics is hosting the Art Model Collective for an X-Men Dark Phoenix Life Drawing Class on Friday 7th June
Drawing inspiration from the mutant mayhem of the original Marvel comics, Art Model Collective models Alysia will be posing through the evening as Jean Grey/the Black Queen/Marvel Girl/Phoenix while Manko will be posing as Emma Frost, the White Queen of the Hellfire Club.
This dynamic, costumed life drawing session is suitable for all levels but aimed at providing a resource for comic artists, illustrators and designers.
So sharpen those pencils and grab your sketchbooks, it's drawing time!
Hosted by artist Jason Atomic, basic materials and refreshments will be provided, the evening will run after hours at Orbital Comics from 7pm and tickets cost £20.
