Looking At That Preview Of Civil War II: The Accused – What Happened After Hawkeye Murdered The Hulk?
Civil War II: The Accused by Marc Guggenheim, Ramon Bachs, Garry Brown and Ruth Redmond gets a preview courtesy of Marvel PR and CBR. And a bloodier shot of the death of Bruce Banner at the hands of Clint Barton than we were afforded in Civil War II.
But justice is swift in the Marvel universe.
One month in and Matt Murdock is called in by the prosecution. Oh and you can read all sorts of slashfic between Murdock and Bruce Banner that puts the lie to his claim.
And only 12 hours later, from the rats in the basement to the sharks in the penthouse, there is an offer on the table.
So this is now the OJ Simpson trial. But can you see an error here? No pens, pencils, paperclips, staples… well, what about spectacles? With those little screws and everything?
Note they still have their glasses on in the first panel. "Man Two", that's second degree manslaughter, defined in New York as conduct which causes the death of a person – committed when a defendant recklessly causes death.
I think this counts. Note the arrow pointing down… Hawkeye has just declined this offer with a panel shape.
Out next Wednesday…
