The Many Doubts of Batman, Today (Justice League #19 and Batman #66 Spoilers)
Batman in the Justice League. It's never going to be easy. Surrounded by demi-gods, when all he has is a grappling hook and a plan. And it turns out that he's usually making it up as he goes along anyway. Barry Allen knows the truth…
Today is full of Batman's own doubts. Justice League #19 sees him slightly unsure he should be joining the League in going up against the denizens of the Sixth Dimension. And he does make a point.
Condescending much there Superman? But over in Batman #66 today, revisiting Batman's series of nightmares that he is making his way through, he doesn't even get a narrative role, his dream version of Catwoman narrating events… and giving his version of her version of him.
But doing it anyway, as a promise made as a child.
Of course he has a plan, Barry Allen.
