Marvel Asked Chelsea Cain to Keep Vision Cancellation "Clean and Quiet"
But Marvel should know that you can't always get what you want.
Chelsea Cain continues to weigh in on the cancellation of her six issue Vision sequel ahead of its November release. Bleeding Cool reported earlier today that the comic had been canceled, apparently due to unspecified future plans for the characters. Later, Cain took to Twitter to reveal that the team had already completed 4 of the 6 issues.
Now, Cain has taken to Twitter once again to tell her followers that Marvel asked her to keep the cancellation "clean and quiet." But, er… spoiler alert…
And to respond to condolences from a fellow pro:
And to offer her own sympathies for the artist Aud Koch:
Cain also revealed that the comic was set to have quite a few real-life cameo appearances :
As well as to say that plans were in motion for the book even before Tom King's volume was complete.
Finally, Cain urged fans to check out her upcoming Image series, Man-Eaters.
That one is in stores in two weeks.
Will we ever learn what really happened here? If the tweets keep flying fast and loose, we could know by tomorrow.
