Seven Marvel Comics That Get Referenced In 'Avengers: Endgame' In One Way Or Another (Possible Spoilers)
There will be no spoilers given in this article for Avengers: Endgame. This is, however, a list of comic books that readers may like to visit or revisit after seeing Avengers: Endgame.
These are specific to Endgame, so no Jim Starlin Thanos, or Infinity Gauntlet with George Perez and Ron Lim, or the Guardians Or The Galaxy books by Abnett and Lanning, even though they're all over Infinity War… I'm kinda regarding those as read.
It is possible reading them beforehand, or being very familiar with their contents, might provide you with some spoilers. I will endeavor to not go explicitly beyond what's been seen in trailers. But if you haven't seen Avengers: Endgame, best not take chances. Though those that want to go for it, and were previously unfamiliar with these comics, may get a joke or a reference or two more in the movie as a result, that they wouldn't have otherwise. Make your judgement… and if you work something out, don't spoil anything for anyone else either.
Hulk Visionaries Vol 6 by Peter David and Dale Keown
You've seen the new look Hulk in trailers and promotional posters. This will totally take you there. I mean, you should read all of Peter David's Hulk run. But this is where it all comes together.

There is a scene in this comic that works with the movie. No spoilers. Read it afterwards.
Secret Wars by Jim Shooter, Mike Zeck and Bob Layton.
Longtime Secret Wars fans will punch the air at one moment.
