Marvel Ships Star Wars And Spider-Man Comics Early In Error….

Comic book retailers served by the Diamond Comics Plattsburgh warehouse received an interesting note.

Due to an error on the part of the printer, some Marvel Comics titles with an on sale date of January 6 were released early without notification. As a result, these titles are included with your shipment of product scheduled for an on sale date of December 30.

A list of the affected titles follows.
Please do not place these titles out for sale until January 6.

The comics arriving this week too early are Amazing Spider-Man #6, Howard The Duck #3, Nova #3, Spider-Man 2099 #5, Rocket Raccoon And Groot #1, Spidey #2 and Obi-Wan And Anakin #1.

The thing, is, checking the Previewsworld site (links above), these are the new official dates for all these titles. Which might make a bigger problem….

 

Will your store manage to ignore the letter and sell them anyway? This fellow seems to have copies in hand…
