Mick McMahon Draws Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles For Thought Bubble
This weekend is Thought Bubble. Bleeding Cool will be lifting its wearing legs from that London, don't you know and travelling far North to Harrogate, which is basically the posher, gentrified side of Winterfell. And this week on Bleeding Cool we will be showing off a lot of what will be waiting for us.
Such as Vice Press who have been working on a Mick McMahon on an exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles print for the event. Mick McMahon is best known as the first published artist on Judge Dredd in 2000AD #2, but also a man wont to change his style overnight. His 2000AD work is legendary, as is his Last American series for Marvel. But now? Turtles.
The print is 16×20 inches, is limited to 125 pieces and costs £25 and is a co-release with Bottleneck Gallery.
Vice Press and Matt Ferguson will be located in the ComiXology Originals Hall tables 42 – 44. Mick McMahon will be in the same hall at table 21b.
And on Friday the 8th of November, Vice Press and Bottleneck Gallery will be hosting a special screening of Shaun of the Dead to celebrate the launch of the convention. Tickets are available here.
I was in Shaun Of The Dead, you know. I have an IMDB mention and everything. Me and Andy Diggle, zombies for about two seconds of screen time. I mean, I can see myself. Can't see Diggle. But he's there somewhere, I'm sure.
Attendees will have the chance to purchase a special, screening exclusive screen print poster, with a regular version being on sale at the convention from their table and later online.
Any remaining prints will be on sale from Vice Press and Bottleneck Gallery on Tuesday the 12th of November from 6pm UK Time, 1pm EST.
