Now An iPhone Made Of Fire

Now An iPhone Made Of FireMatt Harding writes for Bleeding Cool;

Madefire Studios, the makers of interactive digital comics "Treatment," and "Mono" introduced us yesterday to their new iPhone app, which mirrors their existing iPad application perfectly.

The stories remain completely interactive, including "Mono's" insane 360 panel. The app exists for almost all iPhone models, including my clunky 3GS, as well as 3rd and 4th generation iPod touch models. I was skeptical at first about the quality of the app on an iPhone compared to the iPad, but in some cases it works even better on the phone. The smaller screen retains the readability of the previous iPad version, and the animations free.

Madefire will be hosting a release party on Thursday, October 4th in their Berkeley Studio, to celebrate their move to the iPhone, along with their special guest, Joe Field, the founder of the popular annual event "Free Comic Book Day."

To add to their good news, Madefire has recently acquired new talent David Lupton to illustrate Liam Sharp's new script "Metawhal Alpha". Lupton was chosen through Madefire's talent contest, "Monster Hunt," a process they plan to continue in the future.

This weekend, Madefire will have a booth at the New York Comic Con (booth #864), where you can check out their app firsthand along with "Treatment" creator, Dave Gibbons. I'm sure you've heard of Dave before. He was one of the creators of "Watchmen". And, if you don't know what that is, I have no idea how you even got to this website in the first place.

If you're not attending the New York Comic-Con, you can always check out a video explaining Madefire's app;

If you want to just skip that process, you can pull out your iPhone and download their app for free…
