Otto Octavius Learns About Emotional Intelligence in Next Week's Superior Spider-Man #4

Marvel Comics publishes so many Spider-Man comics — more than 20 in June — that it can be hard to keep track of who's who. Most of them star Peter Parker, alternate versions of Peter Parker, or past versions of Peter Parker, but Superior Spider-Man actually stars Otto Ocatavius, or is that the consciousness of Otto Octavius in a cloned body? Something like that, we're pretty sure. In this preview of Superior Spider-Man #4, Otto is recuperating from his latest battle with Terrax while trying to hook up when he's rudely interrupted by Anna Maria….

It seems that though Otto may be trying to do good as Spider-Man, he can't seem to drop his elitist attitude. Calling himself the "superior" Spider-Man might have been the first clue…

But Anna Maria wants to show Otto there's a different kind of intelligence than standard book learnin'. And to teach him, she wants him to go and hang out with some regular people by helping those affected by the battle…

Will Otto learn the valuable lesson that all Spider-persons must one day accept: that with great power there must also come great responsibility?
