Comic book author Ram V posted to TwitterX over the festive break, talking about his current, critically-well-received run on Detective Comics with the Orgham mystical criminal family of Gotham, saying, "Thank you for all the lovely 'Tec 1080 comments. Questions shall be answered… #detectivecomics #soon. G'night bluebirds."

But on being asked "It is true that your Detective Comics run ends in issue 1089?", he replied in the positive. "Yep! We started with a plan. Around 30 issues-ish. 3 Acts. Including the annual last year and the oversized Outlaw issue this year, that's almost exactly on the mark. Also to add further context to this. This is the longest single work I have done so far. There were a lot of things to juggle. And the whole team, artists, letters, editors – everyone stayed with the plan. Given the nature of comics – pretty insane to be here, almost at the end!" But when asked "sorry to bother you sir but in what capacity might we see selina again if you plan to make her reappear?" he replied "I don't discuss story outside of story :)" Asked further, "So what am I supposed to do with myself after you leave the book?", he replied "Follow me to my next story? <3".
