2D Cloud Announces 2014 Releases – And A Christmas Contest
2D Cloud, an independent publisher handling some of the most notable darlings of the indie comics circuit, produces comic works in a wide array of formats and styles, but the guarantee is that they'll be weird and wonderful. In the lead up to Christmas, they've announced five big books coming in 2014, and also a Christmas contest to win a group of free books.
Here are the details on the contest: You must reblog the following post to enter.

The contest ends on December 18th, and three winners will receive a copy of Christopher Adams' Christmas Special, which includes:
But that's just the start. Here are the five books coming in 2013:
Detrimental Information
The comics of the Holden brothers has a deadpan, absurd sense of humor perfectly offset by the scrawled, often manic nature of their linework. – Rob Clough, Comics Critic for High-Low & the Comics Journal
Rudy
Mark Connery's work is incredibly inspiring. His zines are portals to other dimensions where cats and ducks and fish-men engage in metaphysical shop-talk. At first it may seem that logic has been abolished, but the cartoon laws of punchline and gag still hold, creating hilarious friction. A comedic timing worthy of Bushmiller has been transplanted into an anarchist scratch-scape. Importantly, Connery connects comix with spiritual predecessors: artist books, punk rock utopianism, psychedelic nonsense, surrealist automatic writing, dreams and daydreams…which is exactly what I want to read. I LOVE RUDY! – Matthew Thurber, 1-800-MICE, Infomaniacs
Dragon's Breath and Other Stories
MariNaomi tells honest stories about her love life. Sometimes they're sweet, sometimes painfully embarrassing…but they're so genuine every time. – Bitch Magazine
And here's a teaser for their Fall/Winter titles in 2014, too:
Looks to be some gorgeous and inevitably wild stuff coming from 2D Cloud in 2014, but it'd be even better to try to get a free set of books before blastoff…
