Just revealed on BBC1. In the half-time of the FA Cup semi-final, Everton Vs Manchester United. The only way you'll get most Doctor Who fans to watch football.

The new Doctor Who companion, to be seen in the next series of the show (and possibly this year's Christmas special) will be played by the actor Pearl Mackie as Bill.

And here she is….

Singer, actor, acting tutor and currently appearing on the stage at the National Theatre in The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time.
