Jason Fuchs Is Writing The Magic Catalogue For Disney
Patrick Dane writes for Bleeding Cool
Jason Fuchs has gotten the gig for Disney's new Sci-Fi adventure The Magic Catalogue. The project is interestingly being produced by Robert Zemeckis's ImageMovers.
ImageMovers Digital were the company that created motion capture movies like A Christmas Carol, Midnight Express and Mars Needs Moms. That portion of the company has since been shut down, but the main production company lives on.
Variety describe the story as:
The sci-fi adventure is based on a concept by story artist Chris Appelhans and revolves around teens who inadvertently acquire a cache of high-tech weapons the likes of which have never been seen.
At this point it is unclear whether The Magic Catalogue is live-action or an animation. Much of the talent are from an animation background but since ImageMovers don't have an active animation division to their company any more, it's unlikely they would be on board to produce if it was one.
