Moving Comic Stories – Scorch Comics in Eastbourne and Cape & Cowl in Nova Scotia Move Locations, Re-Open Stores

Scorch Comics of Eastbourne, England was previously based in Grove Road near the city centre, but it has now moved into the shopping centre in Eastbourne town centre, The Beacon. Just in time for the Christmas rush.

It describes itself as an independent, family-run pop culture retailer which focuses on presenting a personal curation of comic books, graphic novels, toys, games, apparel and collectables joins a number of new retailers and food outlets which have opened in The Beacon in recent weeks, including Phase 8, Jamaica Blue, and The Bok Shop.

While in Nova Scotia, comic book store Cape & Cowl has had a Grand Re-Opening in a new location, in Lower Sackville. While they used their old location to run a Christmas Comics and Craft Fair yesterday.

Here's a look around the new digs.

Bleeding Cool tries to mark the opening and passing of comics stores. Existing fanbases are likely to make the latter more well known, but please let us know if a comic store is opening or closing in your neighbourhood. Just e-mail richjohnston@bleedingcool.com.
