Oni Press Joins Diamond's Final Order Cutoff ClubThe five premier publishers distributed by Diamond Comic Distributors, Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Image and IDW, all operate under the Final Order Cut Off, or FOC system. This means that retailers can make their final pretty-much-guaranteed orders for comics long after the deadline for other publishers,. This helps retailers order comics closer to the on sale date, with greater accuracy at meeting demand

And now Oni Press, celebrating every issue shipping on time in 2011, has signed up to the FOC programme and, I understand, Diamond intends this to extend to other non-premier publishers as well through the year.

Which means if you suddenly feel like checking out the current Wasteland comic from Oni, your local comic shop will be able to add one to their orders sooner, and get it into your pull box sooner as well.
