Saturday Runaround: The Avengers Superbowl

WatchWatch: Aaron Sowd wants in on this Before Watchmen thing going down. Saturday Runaround: The Avengers Superbowl

NonExclusiveWatch: Will Fred Van Lente be working for DC now that he is no longer Marvel-exclusive?

The news of my first non-Marvel project since my exclusive ended should be announced soon! Very much looking forward to it.

DeadpoolsplatWatch:Talking with Rob Liefeld about Deadpool and Cable.

Rob: Those characters enjoyed the most success, mainstream or otherwise while I was at the helm. I wrote the foundations with which they were built on and continued years after I left. I'd argued they've been screwed up and nearly destroyed away from my watch.

Stopu: Kelly's Deadpool Nicieza's C&DP Swierczynski's Cable – screwed and destroyed these characters?

Rob: That's a cherry pick of the last 18 years. Plenty of junk in and around all of that. Agent X anyone?

Gail: What a weird drive-by, Rob. Just for the record, Agent X went way, WAY up in sales from Deadpool, reviews were remarkable, readers still ask about it all the time. Not sure what you're going for here.

Saturday Runaround: The Avengers SuperbowlPostcardWatch: Stripped are looking for submissions of the postcard art edition of their upcoming show at Orbital Comics in London. As is the tradition with postcard shows the work will be displayed without name tags so that amateurs and professionals will be presented on an equal footing. Further details here…

KodakMomentWatch: The harassment of Catwoman in Los Angeles.

NBC4 interviewed "Catwoman" Thursday night. She claims two other characters had been drinking and were harassing her all day.

"He was antagonizing me to do so, so I did," she told the station. "I said, 'I'm giving you fair warning. If you do not get away from me I will spray you in the face.'"

The "Willy Wonka" character confirmed "Catwoman's" account to NBC4.

No arrests were made, and no one was seriously hurt, Officer Norma Eisenman said. But police are looking for witnesses and trying to determine if anyone in the tourist area took photos or video of the incident.

MarketWatch: Comic books are, officially, more stable investments than the stock market.

Saturday Runaround: The Avengers SuperbowlThis is Computo the Comic Link Conqueror speaking. I come for your women. But for now I merely collate comic-related bits and pieces online. One day I will rule. Until that day, read on.

They say I am a work in progress. The fools.
