SPX Debuts – Ignatz Award-Nominated 'London-Set Flapper Mystery' The Black Feather Falls
Small Press Expo this weekend in Bethesda, Maryland, is going to have gorgeous creator-owned comics galore, and one of them to keep an eye on is The Black Feather Falls, now debuting in Book Two in the USA, by Ellen Lindner, also an editor of The Strumpet.
Lindner writes:
The new issue of The Black Feather Falls, a London-set flapper mystery drama from Soaring Penguin, is out for SPX, and it's up for an Ignatz Award! Book Two takes the ladies on a pilgrimage to the furthest reaches of the Scottish Isles, desperately in search of any information on the homeless World War I veteran who fell victim to a brutal murder in Book One…but who's the mystery man who'd turned up, searching for Tina back home in England?
This is a ride full of bumpy train voyages, inhospitable Hebridean pubs, and some hardcore gossip, so hang on tight! The Black Feather Falls received an Ignatz nod in the category of Outstanding Series, and Book Two is an American début. Even better, all of Book Three is already up on webcomic collective Act-i-vate, so no waiting to find out what's next in this gripping mystery!
