Templesmith Covers Walking Dead for Hero Initiative

Fan favorite artist and all around nice guy Ben Templesmith did up a The Walking Dead sketch cover for The Hero Initiative that is now up for auction on eBay. Having only been posted a few hours ago, seeing six bids and a price of $500 is very encouraging.

For those not familiar with the Hero Initiative, here is what the charity is all about straight from their own website: "The Hero Initiative is the first-ever federally chartered not-for-profit corporation dedicated strictly to helping comic book creators in need. Hero creates a financial safety net for yesterdays' creators who may need emergency medical aid, financial support for essentials of life, and an avenue back into paying work. It's a chance for all of us to give back something to the people who have given us so much enjoyment."
