Gutters Wins Ballot Stuffing Award In 2011 Harvey Nominations

I am a particular fan of The Gutters, a weekly comics industry satirical online strip.

But even I was surprised to see it nominated so many times in the Harvey Awards nomination list, just released.

It has been nominated for:

Best Colorist
Ed Ryzowski, Gutters.

Best Online Comics Work
Gutters, Lar Desouza, Ed Ryzowski and Ryan Sohmer.

Best New Series
Gutters, Lar Desouza, Ed Ryzoski and Ryan Sohmer.

Special Award for Humor in Comics
Ryan Sohmer, Gutters.

Best Writer
Ryan Sohmer, Gutters.

Best Artist
Ed Ryzowski, Gutters.

Past nominations have famously seen the likes of NASCAR Heroes #5 and Buzzboy grab a stack of nominations each, but not actially winning an award. And that's the thing, while it's possible to electioneer to get a nomination, getting an actual win is a lot harder…

Here's the latest Gutters. Oh, it is rather good, isn't it?
