Would You Like X-Men: First Class To Film In Your Basement?
X-Men: First Class is being filmed in the UK. Naturally, all good superhero films are, at least partly, shot here. Where else in the English speaking world can you find so many aging thespians who can chew their way through such exposition with such conviction, and so many special effects and stuntpeople willing to throw themselves into the firing line, quite literally in some cases?
But the perils of such shooting is to find locations that don't instantly look like something out of Trainspotting and not Miami Vice. So keeping them inside is a good thing.
Right now the company Sarah Eastel Locations is searching for all sorts of properties. Including one described as;
Large cellars with high ceilings ideally within south east.
For very high profile feature film shooting within bext two months
I understand that's X-Men: First Class. And they need a new X-Mansion. I also note they're looking for
Large brutallist building to double as CIA headquarters, for feature film shooting November for 1 month. Anywhere in the UK
Early Stan and Jack X-Men had Professor X aligned with the US secret services. I wonder if the same could be happening here?
