Why Secret Empire Won't Be Late. Honest This Time.

Civil War by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven was late, and took down the schedule of the rest of the Marvel titles.

Old Man Logan by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven was late and saw Wolverine ship out of order as a result.

Secret Wars was late and saw books that followed it delayed or published before the conclusion.

Ditto for Civil War 2.

And now we have Secret Empire drawn by Steve McNiven. But this comic isn't going to be late. Honest.

This time Marvel have rotating artists. Joining Steve McNiven are Andrea Sorrentino and Leinil Yu.

Which is how they will be able to publish ten issues across five months.

And are already well ahead.

Seriously, they mean it this time. Honest.

Of course, there's another take on this.

Oh Graeme, so cynical!
