Six Flags Theme Parks are pretty standard parks. You pay $50+ to get in, but then you have unlimited access to thrill rides and a sweet water park (if your Six Flags has one). To be honest they're not my favorite theme parks, that dubious honor goes to Disney World. But they are a close second thanks to their WB partnership, which also includes DC characters. I live near Six Flags America, and while it's by far and large not a fantastic park (the Superman ride breaks down frequently) I will be there at least once this summer to ride their newest attraction– Wonder Woman Lasso Of Truth. The extreme swing ride takes guests up a 24 story tower at speeds of 40MPH. You'll get breathtaking views of DC and Maryland, but if you're scared of heights I don't suggest this ride. The ride looks cool, seriously check out the video below.
But over at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in California, they are also getting a Lasso of Truth ride, but this one is a pendulum ride. The ride will top out at 70MPH, and guests will go as high as 147 feet in the air. Personally I'd rather have that ride, but oh well.
The rides will be open for the summer 2017 season.
