Ski Moves From Archie Comics Back To DC Comics

Ski webJim Sokolowski, better known in the comics industry as "Ski", has left his position at Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Archie Comics, which he took up in 2012.

I understand that this comics veteran, who was previously Chief Operating Officer at Marvel Comics and Executive Director of Publishing Operations at DC Comics, has returned to DC, as it makes its move from New York to Burbank and tries to fill the roles performed by the departing Bob Wayne.

I am told he will take up a bicoastal role for a while. But his choice of shirts will probably be more appropriate for the West Coast.

Look for him at the upcoming DC Comics Retailer Roadshows and an official announcement at Comics PRO's summit.
