A Sneak Peek At The Best Selling Comic Of 2017 – Could It Be Obelix The Gaul?

screenshot-896Today, we get a glimpse of what will be the best-selling comic book of 2017, the 37th Asterix The Gaul volume, planned for publication on the 19th October 2017

Unnamed, this specially created tease suggests it may be called Obelix The Gaul, as Obelix decides to strike out on his own and gain his own reputation as a warrior.

It will also be the 90th birthday of original series artist Albert Uderzo and the 40th anniversary of the death of the co-creator, René Goscinny.

This 37th album will, as the last two, be written by Jean-Yves Ferri and drawn by Didier Conrad with contributions by Uderzo. And, as with the other two, will be the best-selling comic in the world as a result.
