Spider-Man Fan To Auction Off Complete Collection To Buy Comic Shop

HiDeHoA comic book collector uses his cherished collection to buy one of the oldest comic shops in Los Angeles. Eddie DeAngelini has been a huge fan of Spider-Man since he was a kid and spent four decades putting together a complete collection of the wall-crawler including a CGC-certified 1.0 Amazing Fantasy #15. But when DeAngelini was offered a chance to be part owner of Hi De Ho Comics in Santa Monica, he decided to put that collection up for auction to become a comic shop owner.

His collection, which also includes Amazing Spider-Man #1 GD-, #13 VF-, #9 F/VF, #3 FN, #4 VG/F and hundreds more, will be auctioned off by ComicConnect in New York City on January 12th. The collection is expected to bring in tens of thousands of dollars.

Hi De Ho Comics is located at 1431 Lincoln Boulevard in Santa Monica.
