Superior Spider-Man Dominates Reorders Again, Along With Much Of Marvel NOW. But Django Unchained, New 52 Valentine's Day, Django Unchained And Adventure Time Make Honourable Appearances
Superior Spider-Man #2 topped Diamond's Advance Reorder charts last week and it's done it again this week with issue 3, putting on in one week more than the entire order of the second print of Superior Spider-Man #2 (which can only be ordered through advance reorders).
Marvel NOW continues to dominate, with DC's Django Unchained being one of the few to break through Marvel's line up – as does the DC New 52 Valentine's Day special. Perhaps retailers are finding a soft spot in their advance reording behaviour, and a surprise reappearance by DC's Animal Man. Didn't expect that one, clearly the Rotworld crossover with Swamp Thing has seen demand outstrip supply. There's also a run on Star Wars #2 after the success of the first issue.
Also note an appearance by Adventure Time: Fionna And Cake #2 – looks like retailers may have underestimated that order previously as well, but it also reflects Boom's entrance into the FOC system, allowing retailers more easily to up their orders closer to shipping times.
And for books already published? As ever, The Walking Dead dominates by Superior Spider-Man #1 also makes an entrance
