I have to say they do seem to share a certain approach to layout and categories, don't you think? However with Marvel it's a lot easier to find out which comics are coming out this week… or next month…

DC Comics have launched new websites for DC, Vertigo, Mad and DC Entertainment yesterday. Response has been mixed with many loving the look but hating the functionality. And they are expressing that mix. And as comments return to the blog pages, the response there is rather negative it seems, my favourite being "It looks so awesome, I can't find anything!"

A little away from the PR promise "New architecture on each site makes it easy to navigate and find a broad range of information and characters making it accessible to both hard-core and casual fans."

All teething troubles which I have no doubt will be addressed shortly. Although currently a placeholder with the old bullet point DC logo of the cover for Action Comics #818 is the most Facebook liked thing on the site…
