Thor Fights Tooth And Claw Over Advance Reorders
Greetings from the coal face of the direct comics market. Where retailers try to increase their orders of certain comics ahead of sale. Where supply and demand and most accurately reflected, where you can see which books are hot, where new orders are coming in and how retailers are reacting to new, unanticipated desire!
Looks like the female-lead relaunch of Thor #1 performed well in store as retailers up their numbers on #2 and reorder plenty of #1. A new variant cover of the new Image launch Tooth & Claw helped bump up orders as well this week, and the incredible success of Wytches #1 has seen large advance reorders for #2 as well. Retailers are also upping numbers ahead of the launch of Spider-Verse, All New Captain America and Superior Spider-Man, while Birthright #2 puts on additional orders after the launch of #1 and Batgirl and Batman both do well out of their raised profiles of late.
