Valiant Comics Editor
Description:Valiant Entertainment seeks an experienced Editor for the Valiant Comics Editorial Department.

Job Responsibilities
-Oversee editorial duties for a minimum of 3 monthly titles.
-Guide project from concept to publication, including recruiting talent, building and maintaining schedules, and working with creative teams.
-Interface with other divisions within Valiant to ensure that departments have key assets in timely manner.
-Create and manage schedules with editorial and production team.
-Identify new talent and build strong working rapport with current talent.

Requirements:Job Requirements
-3 to 5 years editorial experience, preferably in a comic book/graphic novel environment.
-Demonstrated proficiency interfacing with artists and writers.
-Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
-Must be able to proofread/copyedit material, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
-Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
-Mac/PC proficiency necessary.
-Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator helpful, but not required.
-Must be prepared to work in a team-oriented environment.
