Vampire Hunter D To Receive A Message From Mars
Here is something cool for fans of Vampire Hunter D. Unified Pictures announced to ANN that a kickstarter has been launched to fund a new comic based on a story by the original author Hideyuki Kikuchi. The new book will be called Vampire Hunter D: Message from Mars. The new comic will not effect the upcoming animated series Unified is doing with Digital Frontier.
The comic will be written by Brandon Easton (Civil War II: Choosing Sides) and drawn by Michael Broussard (Witchblade). The story adapts Kikuchi's short story Message from Cecile. The story is not set on Earth and shows some of the characters early vampire hunting days.
These are a few concept art pieces Unified shared with ANN for the announcement and some unfinished panels.
